The Garda Síochána (Ireland's Police Service) have produced a guide to police services and made it available in several languages.
Crime Prevention/Community SafetyThe Gardaí have also produced thirteen crime prevention and community safety information sheets which are available below in 10 different languages. The leaflets are available here in English.

Garda CharterThe Gardaí have produced a Garda Charter. This takes account of both the support and expectations of victims and developments in victim support services and networks. The Garda Charter is available here in English and in 11 more languages below.
Victim Impact StatementIf an offence comes to trial and the result is a "Guilty" verdict, the victim of certain crimes (sexual offences, violent crime, or any case where the judge thinks it appropriate) can make a Victim Impact Statement to the court to help the judge decide on the right sentence, taking in to account the damage done by the crime.
An Garda Síochána, in partnership with the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions and the Victims of Crime Office, have developed Guidelines entitled ‘Making a Victim Impact Statement’ to help victims of crime to draw up their statements.
