National Contact Points on Integration

The network of National Contact Points on Integration is a forum for the exchange of information and good practice at the EU level with the purpose of finding successful solutions for the integration of immigrants in all Member States and to ensure policy co-ordination and coherence at national level and with EU initiatives. Ireland is a member of the National Contact Points on Integration and a representative of the Office for the Promotion of Migrant Integration takes part in these meetings. Meetings take place approximately 4-6 times per year in Brussels and expert meetings and conferences in Member States take place approximately 2-3 times per year.

This Office participated in the Linking-in EU funded Resettlement project which aims to strengthen the expertise of European practitioners in all stages of the resettlement and integration process. This project also supported new and emerging EU Resettlement States as they began the process of resettlement.
