National Policies on the Legal Status of Immigrants
- This seminar is organised by the European Institute of Public Administration (EIPA) and Maastricht University (UM). It is aimed at public officials from national, regional and local authorities of the EU Member States, officials from EU Institutions, professionals in the private sector, law enforcement officers, consultants, staff of NGOs, institutes asnd think tanks, and others working on European migration policies. The position of highly skilled migrant workers will be considered through the examination of the current legal status of migrants, with regard to mobility and work, as well as a scrutiny of the latest legislative trends in the EU (i.e. EU Blue Card).
