The Immigrant Council of Ireland are holding a half day information session on the rights and entitlements of migrant women who are experiencing gender based violence.
All staff of refuges and support groups providing accommodation and support to migrant women and children in violent relationships are invited to attend, as are staff of other agencies providing support such as maternity or medical social workers. Topics will include the residency rights of migrant women in the event of relationship breakdown.
The session will take place between 10am - 1pm on Thursday 3rd December 2009, at the Carmelite Community Centre, Aungier St, Dublin 2.
